ShelterBox is Rotary International’s partner in disaster relief. Assisted by local Rotary Clubs, Interact Clubs, and Rotary Districts, they do critical work around the globe to provide emergency shelter and life-saving household essentials to people who have been affected by weather-related disasters or conflict.
On November 14th from 5-6 PM PT / 8-9 PM ET, you’re invited to ShelterBox USA’s annual virtual benefit, which promises to be inspiring and unforgettable.
The event is hosted by ShelterBoxUSA’s President Kerri Murray, a member of Montecito Rotary Club. She’ll be joined by recently deployed members of the ShelterBox Response Team.
Together, they’ll share a virtual journey to the core of their global relief efforts. You’ll learn how their work transforms lives—from providing emergency shelter to families displaced by violence in Gaza to delivering vital aid in the aftermath of catastrophic flooding in Bangladesh, Hurricane Beryl in Grenada, and Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the United States.
This evening is more than an event; it’s a celebration of the hope and renewal their aid and support bring to those in need. If you are new to their life-changing work, this event is a great introduction to ShelterBox. Founded by a Rotary Club in the year 2000, ShelterBox has now delivered aid to nearly 3 million people.
