Our Rotary Global Travelers membership is becoming increasingly global, but the majority of our members still travel with a US passport. Requirements for entering various countries are changing. This helpful article outlines many of the requirements for US travelers now and in the near future.

At each meeting, we give one of our members (typically a newish member) the opportunity to introduce themselves. They share a few pictures, a little personal history, and their “Rotary why.” At a recent meeting, new associate member Emily Leitzinger dazzled us with her introduction in verse.

Ever thought of leading one of the Global Travelers trips?  The trips committee is looking for people with an interest in organizing and leading one of our future trips.  We have lots of templates and many previous trip leaders that will serve as mentors for you.   

Chesa Keane, an Associate member of Global Travelers, is a long-time consultant in many aspects of IT. Chesa has generously agreed to create a web series for our members with tips for helping us avoid becoming the victim of online scams. This month, Rotarians all over the world are celebrating the work we do to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. We Global Travelers are proud of the work we’ve done in this area.

In September 2024, nearly 40 Global Travelers, family, and friends participated in a Habitat build project in Alexandria, Minnesota. This month, the happy home owner Jayde and her three children moved into their new home.

Our club is saddened by the death of member Mike Mauser on February 6, 2025. He was a passionate and committed Rotarian. His widow Helen Hankins is also a member of our club.
