Several times a year, our Global Travelers E-Club members join together, around the world, to serve together separately. We have picked up trash, donated books, and participated in food shelf programs. This page highlights our various virtual service projects.
Socks and underwear are the most requested and least frequently donated items at many nonprofits that provide clothing for those in need. Most of us take clean underwear and warm socks for granted, but for unhoused people, they are a deeply appreciated treasure. In February, our Global Travelers are donating socks and underwear to non-profits in their area. Learn more.
This fall, Global Travelers around the world did their part to contribute to a cleaner planet. In 21 communities in 7 states and 8 countries, 31 Global Travelers picked up trash. Learn more here.
In March, our Global Travelers once again stepped up to serve together, separately. Organizer Barb H. provided guidance on opportunities to participate in food drives, meal preparation, and serving meals. Our members donated their time and money to help feed others in 24 cities and towns in 11 states and 5 countries. Learn more.
