Our small but mighty Communications and Technology Committee needs your help. As a virtual club, keeping our members informed via social media, the web, and our newsletter is critical to our success. Smoothly run Zoom meetings and the management of our technology infrastructure are important, too. Our committee is the engine behind the scenes and, so far, we’re keeping the trains running on time. But, like all of you, we are global travelers who like to spend time in other parts of the world, away from our computers. We would love to have more willing, talented members join us. If you have any of the skills below and are interesting in joining us (or want to find out more), send an email to [email protected].
We use Meta Business Suite to post to both Facebook and Instagram. If you’re familiar with these tools and would like to post stories periodically, we’d love to hear from you.
Writing — We regularly post articles about global travel, from places you’ve visited to tips and tools. If you’d like to be a regular contributor and officially join our team, we’d love that! We also welcome “freelance” articles from our members.
Managing — We use WordPress and Elementor to publish our website. If you have skills in these tools (or web skills in general) and would like to help out, let us know.
We use MailChimp to publish our newsletter. If you are familiar with MailChimp (or Constant Contact, which is very similar), we’d welcome some assistance in getting our semi-monthly newsletter out the door.
Zoom meetings — We need some experts to facilitate meetings, manage breakout rooms and recordings
DACdb — We need expertise in our new club database to help with implementation and to provide technical support to our members.
