Grants are an essential part of what we do as Global Travelers. They are key to how we serve the world. Our club has decided to focus exclusively on international projects.
Our participation in grants depends upon our members’ donations to our Global Travelers Foundation. We also benefit from significant matching funds from District 5950 and from The Rotary Foundation.
Grants come in several varieties:
- Our club can be the primary sponsor of a Small International Grant ($30,000 or less)
- Our club can be the primary sponsor of a Global Grant (> $30,000)
- Our club can be a collaborator on either a Small International Grant or a Global Grant sponsored by another club.
In our brief history, we have done all of the above. You can learn more about how grants work in this article.
